THE ISOSCELES PROJECT IS PREPARING TO DESTROY YOU! The Isosceles Project can be described in several different ways but nothing comes closer to expressing what this band is capable of than the word ‘epic’. The Isosceles Project is balance and harmony amongst technically superior musicianship and emotionally fueled songwriting and that is what inspires and motivates this band every time they step behind their instruments. Although free of lyrics, this instrumental trio is more than capable of seizing your mind with the fierce intensity and hypnotic presence of their heroic compositions. As hard as it is to label something that is as genuinely unique as the Isosceles Project, one could begin to describe their sound as Progressive-Experimental-Instrumental. Combine the sweeping cinematic tones of Tool with the intensity of Opeth, add a touch of Pink Floyd ambiance a little Red Hot Chili Pepper funk and some Jaco Pastorius jazz licks and you might begin to imagine the music of the Isosceles Project. The Isosceles Project was originally formed in January 2007 by Eric Euler (Guitar) and Justin Falzon (Drums) after they left another band to pursue a more experimental project. They were soon joined by Scott Tessier (Bass) after he answered their ad and quickly showed his ability to master the music and add his own personal edge to the material. The band became a cohesive unit in March of 2007 and they played their first gig only 4 months later. Since then, they’ve blown away audiences at venues such as the El Mocambo, Clinton’s, Rancho Relaxo, and the Opera House. The Isosceles Project has quickly earned a reputation around the city of Toronto for playing beautifully intricate music with a stunningly powerful, heavy edge and has already gained a steady following among a diverse crowd of fans. Now, the Isosceles Project is ready to show the world what they’re capable of doing in front of a crowd and inside a studio. The downright potential of this trio is infinite and their distinctive sound is unrivaled. Prepare yourself for what might be an assault on your senses because The Isosceles Project is like nothing that you’ve ever heard but still offers something for everyone to devour.
