High Heels Lo Fi was born when Paisley Rae was ranting on MySpace about needing to start a band, and Cynthia Gould responded in a fit of positively-charged insanity. No matter that neither of them knew how to play guitar, they just started learning fast. Soon the two poet/singer/guitarists decided to increase the rock factor by adding Patricia Humphreys on drums and Mandy Wells on bass.

During their first two years, HHLF has already amassed a following and played at Clinton's, The Cameron House, Hugh's Room, Theatre Passe Muraille, The Renaissance Cafe, and The Gladstone Hotel; amusing audiences with their raw rock songs and hilarious onstage style.

In October 2008 High Heels Lo Fi recorded a four song demo at The Tardis, courtesy of Moody Loner Records. "Four Off The Floor" is available at all HHLF shows.
