The Framework aren’t afraid to say it - “it’s all been done before”. So taking pieces of music and culture lodged in their brains from various places and points in time, they have created a sound that is all their own, with nods to other artists nodding to other artists and always nodding to the beat. The framework is a method, an energy, a mode of transportation. Featuring two distinct yet similar vocalists and a collective of like-minded musicians, what more could a post-modern listening audience ask for – rock, served up just a little too cool for the old school.
