Band pic of 100% Wool

100%WoOL was created in early 2004 by a production assistant and graphic designer working at a Toronto broadcast design firm. Both were quickly fired. 50% Vivi, 50% Serge. With scorching bass lines, intense, maxed-out live electronic drums, and hot keyboard accents, 100%WoOL serves up an intense drum and bass battery with energizing and innovative live performances!

Their musical influences range from Sonic Youth to the sounds of panda bears, samba beats, and crunk music. 100%WoOL loves to play fun shows; so you're as likely to catch them in a bar or club as you are at a house party, art gallery, hair salon, loft or warehouse.

100%WoOL's history is one of tragedy, and is split in to two. A year after forming, Vivi had an allergic reaction to headache medicine sending her into a coma for four months. After coming out of the coma, Vivi was blind. What followed was a long recovery during which she regained her independence. 100%WoOL soon reformed.

With one of the biggest indie releases in Toronto's recent history ("Monkey vs. Panda" EP 2006), 100%WoOL is poised to make an even bigger splash with the full length "Sheepistan", set for an indie release in May 2007.

Like some Ionesconian absurdity, with Hemmigwayesque bluntness 100%WoOL rushes towards infinity.

So, come along for the ride!
