Tasc is an artist - not just a hiphop dj,turntablist or battle/competition DJ. Tasc has been droppin' memorable sets, mixtapes and CDs across Canada since 1997. Paying close attention to the growth of hiphop throughout his teenage years, he decided to take up the role of a party and mixtape selector on his own and made his debut playing at Full Force parties. -- -- For turntablists and hiphop heads in Canada the name "dj tasc" became more familiar after his 1st place ranking at the 2001 and 2002 Ottawa DMC's. Having played alongside some of the finest names in hiphop such as A-Trak, the X-Ecutionners, The Skratch Perverts, Planet Asia and taking titles in battles, Tasc has made a significant mark on the Canadian hiphop scene. -- -- Currently residing in Toronto, Tasc can be found DJin at his residencies which include Destiny Events, Projek Events @ Republik Nightclub and The House of Blues's Molson Ampatheatre. His crowd pleasing style has earned him many high profile shows for companies and celebrity hosts such as Virgin Mobile, Converse shoes, Paris Hilton, Jermaine Dupri and Tommy Lee. Constantly staying on top of all musical styles, cuttin', skratchin' and mixing it up in proper DJ fashion, Tasc delivers for any dancefloor at any given time
